Our Heritage
Where History Meets the Future
Fisica Applied Technologies, Inc. brings together decades of engineering expertise and technological innovation across multiple aerospace and defense disciplines.
The company was formed through the integration of specialized technology businesses with long-standing relationships across the U.S. defense and aerospace ecosystem. Among these are Randtron, Datron, and ATI, businesses with deep engineering roots that previously operated within L3Harris Technologies before being brought together under the Fisica brand.
These organizations have supported major defense programs for decades, providing advanced antenna systems, electromagnetic simulation technologies, and specialized testing equipment that help ensure mission readiness and system survivability in demanding environments.
Together, they form a foundation of expertise spanning:
- Electronic warfare antenna systems
- Radar and RF antenna technologies
- Ruggedized battery solutions
- Electromagnetic testing and simulation
Building on this foundation, Fisica continues to expand its capabilities to support the evolving needs of modern defense and space missions.
Expanding into Space and Flight Systems
In 2025, Fisica expanded its portfolio with the acquisition of Space Vector Corporation, a highly specialized aerospace engineering company with more than five decades of experience supporting space, missile, and launch vehicle programs.
Founded in 1969 in Chatsworth, California, Space Vector originally developed guidance and attitude systems for NASA sounding rocket missions and later became a key provider of launch vehicle technologies and flight hardware for national defense programs.
Over its history, Space Vector has contributed to a wide range of aerospace milestones, including:
- Supporting early sounding rocket research missions
- Launching the first privately funded rocket to reach space in 1982 through the Conestoga program
- Providing systems for missile defense testing and target vehicles
- Developing GPS metric tracking systems used on launch vehicles such as Atlas V and Delta IV
- Supplying mission-critical avionics, RF systems, and batteries used across national security space programs
Today, Space Vector provides high-reliability hardware for launch vehicles, satellites, missiles, and autonomous aerospace platforms — including ruggedized batteries for flight termination systems and human space flight, avionics, GPS tracking units, RF components, and other specialized battery systems.
Its technologies support missions for organizations including the U.S. Space Force, Air Force, and other national security programs.
The addition of Space Vector expands Fisica’s capabilities beyond the electromagnetic domain into flight safety systems, space hardware, and mission-critical power solutions, strengthening the company’s role across the full spectrum of aerospace mission assurance.

Electromagneitc awareness & protection
Fisica Antenna and RF technologies support radar warning receivers, electronic warfare systems, and sensing platforms designed to help operators detect and respond to threats in contested environments.

Electromagnetic Effects & survivability
Through advanced testing and simulation capabilities, Fisica systems help ensure that critical electronic components remain resilient in the presence of electromagnetic pulse (EMP) radiation effects, and other extreme conditions.

Signal integrity & connectivity
Fisica antenna systems enable reliable communications, radar sensing, and signal transmission across air, land, sea, and space platforms.

space & launch mission assurance
With the addition of Space Vector, Fisca delivers mission critical avionics, batteries and flight safety hardware that help ensure the reliability and safety of launch vehicles, missiles, and spacecraft.
