Datron supplies full motion advanced antenna systems used for satellite communications, space vehicle tracking, telemetry and control, situational awareness of space, and transport of earth observation data from multiple space-based sensors. The full motion fixed antenna are designed for highly dynamic, high duty-cycle, precision pointing to track the latest Low Earth Orbit (LEO), Middle Earth Orbit (MEO) and Highly Elliptical Orbit (HEO) satellites in addition to rockets, missiles, and other spacecraft. They are vital for national security, scientific, and commercial satellite applications.
Datron’s transportable SATCOM antenna systems are highly optimized and designed for rapid deployment in the field. They are often trailer based and can be packaged for airlift missions in support of multiple missions.
Datron also offers Communications On-The-Move (COTM) terminals designed for highly dynamic, high duty-cycle, and precision pointing to MEO, HEO and GEO satellite constellations. Also referred to as SATCOM On-The-Move (SOTM) systems, or Network On-The-Move (NOTM) systems , these systems are rugged, vehicle-mounted satellite communications terminals that provide reliable connectivity over rough terrain and in harsh environments.
Datron's sustainment and life cycle operations support ground control stations and teleport operators with previously installed Datron or third-party antenna and/or legacy antenna control systems in need of upgrade or technology refresh.
