Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior mechanical assembly experience.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights and climbing.
  • Experience in the use of hand tools, drilling/tapping, torquing, reading blueprints, understanding drawings, etc.
  • Must be able to read and interpret blue prints.
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Previous experience working at heights is preferred.
  • Previous experience operating forklifts is desired.

Essential Functions:
The Integration and Field Technician C duties include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for the worldwide  integration and field testing and evaluation of Satellite tracking ground station equipment and components for both Factory and on site Acceptance Test Procedures which are a part of new and preform Preventative maintenance systems for designated customers.
  • Utilize electronic test and measurement equipment to support general laboratory operations.
  • Assemble, configure, test, operate, and repair hardware in accordance with documentation provided.
  • Perform benchtop RF testing with only the guidance of a test procedure and understands what the procedure is testing.
  • Understanding of Analog/digital Electronics and microprocessor based control systems
  • Collect test data for review and analysis. Document equipment failures through designated reporting tools.

Primary Function:
The function of QC Mechanical Inspector has basic responsible for implementing and maintaining quality standards, procedures and the protocol for the Quality Control functions which include; Receiving Inspection and In-Process Inspection. Major Responsibilities:

  4. Routes inspected parts to appropriate destination.
  5. May perform source inspection at vendor sites.

Education/Experience Training:
Requires a high school diploma and/or a minimum of five to eight years of consistent mechanical inspection experience.  Also requires advanced math aptitude in¬cluding knowledge of trigonometry, knowledge of highly complex mil-specs, ability to read blueprints, and use all types of measuring instruments.  Considering the complex interface with every functional organization it is very important to have excellent communication skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexible to work varied shifts, overtime, weekends and travel on occasion.
  • Able to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, and squat.
  • Able to occasionally push, and reach.

Our team is looking for a Senior Global Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Global Trade Compliance Specialist, you will provide support to the head of Global Trade Compliance to help ensure full compliance with required national and international laws and regulation, professional standards, accepted and ethical business practices and relevant internal policies and procedures.

Duties:

  • Provide hybrid (remote & on-site support) in Simi Valley and San Leandro, California with up to 10% travel may be required.
  • Support the head of Global Trade Compliance to drive and manage the Trade Compliance program, creating and implementing trade compliance policies and procedures.
  • Perform import and export activities in compliance with government rules and regulations, organizational policies, procedures, and departmental goals and objectives, with minimal supervision
  • Review and approve daily trade compliance tasks pertaining to import and export shipments, international travel, public releases, foreign visitors, Restricted Party Screenings, etc.
  • Determine requirements and apply for Department of State and Commerce export and import authorizations
  • Perform timely review of shipping documents for exports to ensure all required documents are compliant prior to export, as well as timely auditing of associated EEIs filings
  • Verify and determine Schedule B Classification/Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS)
  • Maintain import and export records in accordance with various Trade regulations and with Company policies and procedures
  • Provide support to deliver periodic training related to all relevant compliance requirements across the business
  • Monitor changes to laws, regulations, and requirements globally and guide and support impacted business units with implementing any necessary changes.
  • Have strong understanding of import regulations and customs procedures.
  • Maintain and support compliance tools and databases
  • Perform regular self-assessments, support compliance audits, support investigations and address any potential or actual violations.
  • With engineering support, conducts jurisdiction and classification analysis of products (against USML/CCL/ScheduleB/HTS/Country of Origin/USMCA/FTA) for both imported and exported goods.
  • Develop and provide Trade Compliance training to Company employees.
  • Ensure that proposed transactions are appropriately screened for Denied Person and Entities, restricted end-uses, antiboycott language, diversion, etc.

Qualifications:

  • 6 to 10 years Export/Import Compliance experience
  • Knowledge and experience with Export Regulations and Operations including, but not limited, to EAR, ITAR, Foreign Trade Regulations (FTR), OFAC and U.S. Customs Regulations.
  • Experience in determining export and import authorization requirements pursuant to the ITAR and EAR.
  • Experience working with Schedule B Classifications and Harmonized Tariff Schedules (HTS)
  • Foundational expertise with automated export system (AES) and electronic export information(EEI) filing
  • Eligible to be an Empowered Official as defined in the ITAR.
  • Strong analysis, evaluation, and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to draw conclusions and decisions based on regulatory reasoning.
  • Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and work proactively with various teams across the organization.
  • Able to lead, motivate, and manage to accomplish project objectives within timelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to articulate and effectively communicate trade compliance information to various audiences

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of prior experience or in lieu of a degree minimum of 10 years experience.
